155 Sport (2013) remap.

Postby slikt » Sat Mar 04, 2017 8:13 pm

Hi guys,

Can I safely assume that the only person to use is Martyn (vantuner) for this and has anyone else with a sport had it done by him?

Cheers

I've had mine done by Pendle Performance.
Did my caddy too, zero problems, great service.
Gone from 125ps to 190, and 467ft/lb torque, and returns 40mpg at 75mph

Martin did my Custom Sport a couple years back. It's been sweet ever since. Definitely more punchy at low rpm and cruises very nicely on the motorway.

I have not been at work for a few days so offloaded all my tools. I'm doing 3 mpg better! I'm going to weigh my tools as they go back in later out of interest, but mine is always loaded. I never do motorway journeys so I guess thats the difference. They are definitely designed for 6th gear cruising. They hate up and down the box in traffic which is what I do generally.

My Tourneo at 80mph cruising down through France 30-31mph. As soon as the warranty ends in just over a year I will be booking in to Van Tuner. It sounds as if the engines run much smoother and pull better. Having owned it from new I still find it takes a bit more concentration with the clutch and throttle in stop start traffic to pull off smoothly. So hopefully it will go in, be tuned and feel like a new van.

An extra 2-3 mpg then?
Am I correct in squeaking?
So on an economic basis..
how far would you need to go before the remap paid for itself ?
To the moon or just up Uranus?

Now then now then
Say 4mpg more then allcock ok?
Yes ok allcock that's 100 gallons would be 40 miles extra then init ?
That's correct allcock :D
At 1.18 ppl x 4.56 is £5.38 shelkels pergallon
That's 538 shelkels for 100 gallons to make 40 miles of savings ,just over a gallon
So allcock every £538 you spend in fuel and you save about £6 quid
How much is a remap ? £250? So that's decided by 6quid is 41
So you need to put 538 x41÷π∆ in it
And the answer is .....

Just put £22058.32 of fuel in and its paid for itself :P

Nice chat

Bye
