I assumed it has as it sure looks a lot lower on the rear axle.

The euro6 is being offered with air suspension, but the regular Tourneo is the same as the van according to the brochure.

That's a pretty nice trip. Wish I had time to do one of those. This summer I'm driving to Dubrovnik from Belgium and I'm pretty confident in the ride's comfort. But then again, I live in my van.
The seats are just fine for me.

The air suspension is for passenger carry TC only not the panel van.
If Ford did the TC with indy rear suss like most of the opposition then--they would not have any opposition IMO.

The Tourneo has leaf springs and is classed as a 300 load. It is, as said, no different to the vans. The ride would seem better due to it carrying the extra weight of the rear seats and trim (try removing the seats, they weigh a ton). The height appearing difference would be down to this probable as it uses the same rubber assisters as the vans. Fuel economy is effected badly as well and never gets near to any of the vans.

I checked on a van, the seat does hit the rear panel but does go back almost to the end of the runners. It was my brothers and he always has his seats way back, he finds the Custom comfy to drive. If you are taller than six foot and like to have the seat position a long way back you might find the Custom tight but it it is all a matter of personal preference.

My '14 Tourneo is the same setup at the van, i.e leaf springs. It's probably a better ride than an unladen van because of the weight of the seats though. My seats weight a LOT and it rides great.

My new (to me) Custom drives much better with about 300kg of sand in the back.

I carry 400kg of tools all the time in a dciv 290 lwb,,,, it rides & handles perfectly. it has a fat lump in the front at around 110kg too.

I took the tools out last week and it was very bouncy....went like the clappers though!

Its science you know
Your leaf springs will carry about a tonne load?
So if there's nought in it will bounce and out a bit
And if its got a tonne in it will slop àround a bit
Hardly taxing for a scientist like me
But there you are
I can do several other sciences too you know

Hope this helps

Dealers don't seem to want to let you take one out for a few hours to get a real feel for it. VW are OK with it just not Ford and one would have thought if it was a potential sale then-- WTF not? scuz mt French.

Mk7 with vw seats no bulkhead works for me,
