Well that's disappointing (rear speakers)

Postby Spinal Tap » Mon Apr 10, 2017 5:30 pm

Just pulled the Ply lining off one side of the van to start wiring the speakers in and there's no connectors.

Thought they had them in all the vans but obviously not.

Have to pull the head unit and wire it from there.

Bugger.

Not a great autoelectrician, how difficult is it to do it this way?

For the rear speaker connections I did to find where the loom ran, but there's no connections taped or clipped on, just the loom going to the back lights etc.

I've also looked on bemm for the head unit now and think I've got it sorted where the wires coming out of it are.

Yep. The loom runs straight through but no wires or connectors coming off.

Not that I can see (or feel).

Much appreciate you looking.

Like you I couldn't find any connectors on the middle pillar however I found some connectors on both sides at the back clipped to the rear pillar (see below). Not being an expert on what the connectors are for I couldn't say if these link to the head unit however I assume they are either for speakers or aux output (12v socket)?
