Anyone had there's replaced yet ?

do you have an idea of cost ... what average mileage is before they need replacing ( based on average use )

A clutch should last around 100k miles under normal use. Less if you're towing or do a lot of crawling in traffic. More if you're doing a lot of M-way driving.

Piece of string?

Yes that is very true. I expected around 70K from previous experiences. my driving methods haven't helps and i've carried a lot of heavy loads, towing and using it for pulling out tree stumps :).
Drive everyday through london too. It's right at the top of the pedal now at 38k . Still can stall it in 6th but getting it changed next week. Just was curious with this new vehicle

Complete new set fitted now, dual mass was worn and clutch almost down to wear lines. Still had life in it but better safe than sorry.
Also changed all 4 sets of pads , they had few thousand miles left on them still even though Ford declared them 80% worn , 9000 miles ago !
still saved myself over £450 changing them myself

Top work! Are you a mechanic?! I've never been brave enough to tackle a clutch.

The Ford DMF is very fragile, 2 of my previous vehicles have failed DMF, one at less than 10k miles! That obviously takes the clutch with it when it fails.

Was that your first set of pads? How many miles did they get to?

no, i don't have time to do a clutch , got the mechanic too. Dual mass are an expensive waste of time.
first pads changed at 39K , quoted £570 by ford . Bought the pads myself from ford for £110 .... joke

I guess those photos of the clutch prove Ford haven't fixed the water draining down the scuttle and onto the engine!!!

so nice having a full clutch again, and my handbrake is hard to pull at 2 clicks .
I think without realising i rest my foot on the clutch pedal, been catching myself but because i'm changing gear a lot it's easier to keep it on the pedal ( subconscious thoughts )
