New van time, few questions....

Postby shire » Sun Jun 11, 2017 8:33 pm

Hi Guys,

Got a 59 plate semi high short wheelbase transit trend in blue 115 (remapped to 135) which has been a great van but now time for a change and after a Custom ideally a limited with a few added goodies

This is taking my fancy only a few simple extra but really stands out....

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152561901381

Just wondered if you guys have had any dealings with the firm? Met the guy and seems a genuine Fella though, I've found all the parts on eBay but probably easier to just to buy one done if the figures aren't to far out.....

I would prefer the M sport OZ racing wheels, does anyone know where you can buy replica versions as I'm sure genuine ones are ridiculous money.

Also trying to find the difference in spec between standard, trend, limited,' sport etc which is proofing to be difficult as just the new Euro 6 keeps popping up and I'm looking around 15/16 plate unless there the same .....

Euro 6 is 2 litre diesel 130 or 170 versions requires adblue at regular intervals. Lots of reviews and issues on here, use the search function.

Euro 5 (what you are looking at with 15/16 plate) s 2.2 diesel and 125 or 155 versions. No adblue.

I leave the 100 ps versions out as they are dead to me

So spec wise inside the vans stays the same? it's just the engines that have changed, Iv read a few issues with the 2 litre engine so will be staying away from this. Ideally the 155 for me but they seem to be quite rare, won't be going near 100bhp after being used to the 135 in my old van.

125's are plentiful, either 125/155 will need a nice remap from van tuner or a trusted file supplier. They are a much better drive once remapped.

More gentlemanly like part leather seats in the sport and lane assist so the display on the dash more attractive
