Afternoon all,
I have finished replacing the front disc brakes on my 2013(63) Custom, and what a dire job that was. Why have Ford made it so difficult that the hub has to come off? What ever was wrong with removing the wheel and there you have access to the disc.
No grease was on the splines of my driveshaft, with 10tonne pullers on and me hitting it from behind I bent the hub. I cut through the hub, it cracked all the way along but it still wouldn't come off, in the end I cut through the stub shaft of the driveshaft. A dreadful design.
Now I'm putting it all back together with lots of love and grease, please can you help me with some torque settings?
Torx Bolts?
Bolts holding hub onto disc?
Main hub bolt (I'm sure I've seen on here that should be 200nm)
Wheel nut bolts?
