Has anyone tried these?

Will the bulbs fit through into the projector lens and do they throw up any CANBUS issues?

Firstly: this Set isn't a " Philips" set!! It only uses supposedly "Philips" LEDs. In other parts off the world, Philips does sell automotive LEDs whith Lumileds in them. This one isn't a genuine Philips.
I've tried the same ones (or very similar), bought from Aliexpress for around £35 They did cause Canbus problems, which can easily be solved by a parallel Resistor ( 10 Ohm, 20 Watts). But then came the real surprise: radio reception was very poor whith the lights on.!
The beam pattern was very poor as the focal point off the LEDs were several Millimeters off. After adjusting this, it was OK.
I would ask for a reassurance that radio reception isn't disturbed by the LEDs

Best ask Mike on here... I think he was trailing a set of these? He wasn't impressed at all.

I don't think you will find the lighting is on the CAN system. We get no warnings when a bulb is out. well on the Euro 5 anyway.

I've been trying them as the main beam on a Connect, they're very bright but they don't have any range and the beam pattern is uneven. Seikokid has tried them in his Custom as dip beam, his results haven't been encouraging. Hopefully Philips will make some available soon, then we'll have a realistic opt.

Guess I'll stick to just upgrading the bulbs as HID's don't seem to work in later Customs either
