Adding Extra Load Lights

I'm going to purchase some LED lights from eBay,

Can I just wire these in to the existing lights that are in the back?

Or is there a better power source to tap in to?

I will be putting a in line switch in aswell to avoid them draining the battery.

Yes.

Just bin the existing lights, then you won't need a switch as you will reduce the current draw
