Number Plate Bulb Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the number plate lights to change the bulb?

Does the light unit come out or do you get to it from the inside the door?

It comes out but I found it a pig and ended up removing panel inside. Then popping the bulb holder out from above

Shove a small flat bladed screwdriver into the small hole at the right hand side of the light, it'll pop out and the left hand side then releases.
