ford tansit custom rear 12v socket

hi need help.

i have installed the rear auxiliary socket in my transit custom 16 plate but have got no power to it. i checked book and it told me it was f48 fuse so i looked and there was no fuse in the socket. i brought a fuse and it still didnt work, when i had a closer look at fuse box. one of the metal prong are missing from the fuse slot. The one on the right is there but left one is not. any ideas to why. thanks

Because the van wasn't specified from new with the rear socket, so it hasn't been wired for the rear socket.
