I'll drop the psi, although I've never had this problem before, van is nearly empty maybe 150kg of junk evenly loaded.

My white van had 50psi.

Reason for tyre pressures ius i always watch the wear and adjust as best as i can to keep it even.

But, I've never had anything like this, it isn't pulling or anything dodgy.

But it feels like play in the wheel where you have to keep leaning left and then right.

The tyres are heavy duty ones tho and not the factory contis so perhaps then having such a broad flat surface is to blame?.

I'll take a picture :-)

I have Agilis Alpins on the Mk7, running at 50psi, and they're fine :?

I have the summer ones, but still looking for two rims to put them on, as I can't be bothered getting the tyres swapped back and forth

Yours sounds like you have some play in the rack, or maybe it was damaged in the shunt :?:

No there's no play at all, everything is right, (swapped the leg and the subframe and did the wheel alignment) I've done 6k miles and not really noticed until recently, it is quite minor but if i concentrate i feel it and it it's exactly left right left right.

It seems that it isn't a common thing and apparently something minor.

Let me show you what i mean as dramatized by this children's program.

You'll observe that despite having done 200000 miles and being heavily overloaded and having dodgy suspension and driving in a straight line despite clearly having serious failings in the steering system, the clown is more than happy top grab a lift. :-)

If you're constantly sawing away left, right, left just pretend you are in an American road trip movie. They all do that.
Some people are like slinkies.... not good for much but bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

I probably should find out what the actual Ford settings should be for tracking and tyre pressures just to discount them shouldn't I
Although officially i think it is something sinister afoot tbh, bunch of rodents in the world or something :(

The problem is you don't carry enough weight, bung 1/2 tonne of sand over the rear axle and all will be fine. N
