can it be done with universal plug too the wires (as with old vans/cars) without all this programing canbus sh1t....????

You should be able to use a bypass relay to do it.

Diagram shows trailer module has wires going to trailer socket.

Canbus system is good, only can bus bit is the link between modules, they each have their own inputs and outputs.

Mines plugged into the canbus socket but worked fine without needing any programming
After it was all checked my mate plugged his computer in so it would turn off the rear parking sensors if you don't have them or are happy to switch them Off on the dash then just plug it in properly instead of messing with bypass relays
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots
