Euro 6 problems

Postby Tompoole » Mon Nov 13, 2017 8:06 pm

Hi
I’m just about to buy a wellhouse camper with euro 6 but held fire due to euro6 issues
Have ford sorted out the injector issues?

Dropped mine in yesterday sounding like a bag of nails again, have to wait and see how long it takes this time !!
They had it for two and a half weeks back in July.
Wouldn't recommend one of these vans to anybody.

Hi all, new to forum. Took delivery of Wellhouse Terrier in May. Immediate problems with engine warning light coming on intermittently. Local Ford dealer read codes and diagnosed injector problem, full set of injectors ordered and replaced within a week. Disappointing to have problems straight away but dealer was very good. No problems since.

Well mine is in having the idler gear changed again, was only done a t the end of July. Oil light keeps coming on.
Van has done 6000 miles since purchased at the end Janruary. Wouldn't recommend one to anybody. Will be going back to VW asap.

My van is still in the garage, supposedly ready by the of the week. It has been sitting there for two weeks waiting for parts .it has now sat at the dealership for five weeks in total. Rubbish van, rubbish service. :

Thanks for replies , I’m getting cold feet now ..... the people who have had issues seem to out weigh
Those that haven’t .... not sure I can part with £40k plus for a camper with issues,,
Will start search again on vw transporter as bass model .... shame as the custom did look good.
Did you have problems with wellhouse too or were the issues always ford based?

I'd be interested to know how many people have had a problem, as a percentage.
I've got a normal euro 6 custom (not camper conversion) and the only problem I've had in 8 months & 11500 miles is the oil service light which is currently on.
