Changing brake pads and discs

Hi guys i looking to change my front pads and discs and rear pads i know i need a rewind tool can someone advise me if this one would work or it needs something special??

Looks fine to me, don't forget you only need to wind in the rears, and one side is left handed. Hope that's not teaching you how to suck eggs!!

Thanks i will probably tackle it next weekend as garages are asking ridicules money(i know is a big job) but £940 for non OEM pads and discs with labour looks like a lot.

Wow!

That is a lot!

I’ve not done the custom yet but I can’t believe it’s any different to any other brake system I’ve done, front disks and pads shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours at most so how can they justify that?!

should be no more then 2 hours a side

with all parts included, heat, etc less then £500

Heat ? An electric fan heater to keep you warm while your doing it you mean?

The front bearings don't sit in as far as the trampy old mk6/7 ones and pop out easier btw

I've done the front discs and pads and the rear pads on mine just the same as mk6/7
But I usually like to 130k out of the rear discs :P
