tourneo custom battery

Postby Peterposh » Wed Dec 27, 2017 1:51 pm

Hi , I've got a 2017 tourneo custom bus, I was wondering if anyone knows whether it has one or two batteries under the seat to save me having to remove the drivers seat

without telling us exactly what spec you have nobody will know. You don't have to remove anything to check, just slide the seat forward and you can see the battery box and there is a little flap on the cover that you can lift and have a look.

I'll say all tourneo are 2 batteries aren't they? And if not, why not :?
But as Yasser says, best to have a look because Ford specs are few and far between

According to the marketing leaflet it should have two batteries, but on my tourneo custom 2.0 (y.2017) limited I found out that there was only one battery ...

I seem to remember from when I was looking at buying one, that twin batteries were only standard with certain options specified, otherwise it was a £175 (or thereabouts) standalone upgrade.

If it is easier to remove the driver seat to get access to the batteries, can someone please confirm which 4 bolts need to be removed. Also I have a cable running to the heated seat, will that need disconnecting?
