Help please headlight bulb change...

Help please, ive tried searching the forum, tried youtube...
No joy
Ive changed the dipped headlight on the offside, with difficulty due to the stupid metal retaining clip....

But there is no way on earth i can get my adult sized hand in to the nearside, with the coolant reservior in the way. I may be able to loosen off the retainers for that and swing it out for more space, but i feel it will still be a struggle.

Any threads or assistance, id be truly grateful

I’m sure I have read it’s only 2 screws and the whole headlight comes out mate

Thanks buddy, i can see the two youre talking about, but now its dark and below freezing out there... Tomorrow i guess.. N

Yes the two T head screws are what hold it in, think they're T30 or T35s, take those out and carefully remove the whole light unit and its easy to get to.

Two screws and unplug and lift out , not a long job just a bit fiddly

Thanks peeps... Found something online now... Easier when searching for remove headlight unit, rather than bulb!

What to change the bulb you have to take the whole headlight unit out of the car? That is about as nasty as one could expect. Saves spilling lots of blood though. Perhaps we are no the very first people to encounter this smart design. Maybe thousands of others have been through the same procedure, or they just push the 'change bulbs' button on the dashboard
