Hi All,
I am getting this message quite regularly . And I looked at a few quotes from 2014 about the first custom transits having this problem.
I have taken it back to the dealer and then it stopped occurring but after about 500 miles it returned with red I light on dashboard.
Today I drove about 50 miles and it went off soon after commencing journey .
I don’t wether to ignore it or take it back for another service in days Swansea, who aren’t a lot of help .

Anyone any ideas ?

The ad blue won't be from 2014 will it? Its euro 6 spec so very late 2016 onwards in the 2.0 litre Panther engine only on the custom.

Anyway.... yes take it in. All sort of issues reported with the new 2.0 engine and ad blue warning messages. Oil change warnings also.

Thanks , yes is late 2016 model trend.Do you think it could be an electrical fault ? The ad blue is full up ,
the ad blue is full up , so maybe computer is just not reading it .
Do you think it is a computer malfunction and I could just ignore it ? As I have a long journey to make and their workshop is full for another week or could that get me and the van in serious difficulties?

I had the same problem on my 2016 Euro6.
I continued to use the van until I could get it looked at, maybe a thousand miles 'cos I thought I was being smart. Since the Ford main dealer sorted it out I've not had a problem.
The message came up once after to tell me the adblue would run out in 1000-odd miles and i topped up and the message went.
