I would guess you he dciv is a 310 as that way it still has a ton carrying capacity to class as a commercial vehicle for vat purposes?

No idea!

Why do you want to change the springs? My current 2014 custom is a 310 and I feel no urge to put different springs on her.

Im just going through my options in case if ride is to hard as i do not carry a lot of weight and is my family car and we do lot of travel throught Europe with it is a 15 plate dciv and has 69000 miles,is just coming to 3 years. It would be nice touch if it could be ordered with air suspension but as is a van i doubt it.

In UK, you can already pre order them, but the expectation time is 6 months as in minimum, especially if you order a full package.
However the demo already been ordered and are coming into dealers for a demo in April/May time.

That sounds about right from what I heard from my dealer.
Although I ordered mine along with the demo order so should see it the same Time.
Hopefully... :?

You can order one now you don't have to wait until the demos arrive.
I can make the doorbell ring any time I want, all I have to do is go to the toilet.

I considered waiting for the "new" one, until I saw the pictures. Not pretty. So now I have a new 290 L2 DCIV Sport in Deep Impact Blue, with the optional 18" wheels in silver. Deleted the silly stripes, so now have a very cool looking vehicle. It also has the 5-seat option which pleases my wife no end, as she really didn't like the bench seat in it's predecessor, a 290 L2 DCIV Limited, also in Deep Impact Blue. Call me a creature of habit, but I think it's a better looking van than the new one, and the colour is just the best, even if Ford are about to discontinue it. Meanwhile, if anyone wants a set of the black and silver 17" alloys with Contis fitted, I have the set, unused, that came with the van. Offers...?

Today I made the offer final. Ordered a Transit custom Sport L2 automatic. Color Chrome blue and the 8" radio off corse.

Now we have to wait.......

And when the it's there, have to wait some more. The van must be adapted to ride with hand trottle and brake. And some more stuff for a disabled person.
Hopefully it's ready before my holiday in Mai/June.

I popped in to my local dealer yesterday and he said he’s getting some in for 10th March.
Does anybody know anything about the folding roofracks- they’re available and on the options list but he said none of the vans are actually arriving with them. We wondered if there’s a problem and something is different to the outgoing Custom? I was planning on swaping mine over as I’d think the roof panel is the same but now I’m not so sure!
