Hi guys

Does anyone know if its possible to replace the open dash 'storage' with a tourneo dash 'storage' with lids?
i've seen photos of the tourneo and there seems to be three 'screws' holding in each of the 'storage' with lids. But i cant find any close up photos of the new custom to see if it has the same three 'screws' holding the open dash 'storage' in place.

Dash from tourneo has only two oppening while transit has 3 plus small pocket for phone so tbh i do not see how could be done unless you replacing whole dash but i might be wrong.

I had a quick look yesterday as I was thinking of trying to rig up some kind of lid but couldnt see a way to do it. Think I’m going to get some black cloth to lay over it, retro style!

I saw my first one on the road today. It has very good road presence, the drl’s look great and the whole front makes the ‘old’ Custom look very dated. Thumbs up from me.

mine was quoted as week ending 7th april.......then week ending 14th april........now week ending 21st april..........
hope you dont have the same problem..
i also went for chrome blue but L1 and manual. looks good on the limited i have seen.

Ordered a L1 Sport automatic in January, est. delivery was end of april. Today the dealer called, and told me end of may

I have already a delay of 2 weeks. Hopefully is stays with that.

When my van arrives, it must go to a special company for a rebuild. So that I cab drive with it with my handicap (wheelchair). That will take about 3 weeks.

End of may we go on a holiday, so I had to make the decision to go with my 'old' van. I don't want to drive 1150 km, with a total new car and with special equipment to France.

probably had to wait for the order books to fill up at ford before they fire up the production line...
