Anyone fitted the bigger air tech intercooler any better ?????

The r-spec ms-rt transit comes standard with the bigger intercooler. I'm wondering if they use the airtec version. I'm also very interested in this and plan to fit the airtec intercooler aswell.

Better in what sense? It’ll only be ‘better’ once you’ve increased the boost (and consequently the intake temp) and you need to cool the air more. It wouldn’t be the first mod that I’d do, that’s for sure.

Hi mike, what would be your first mod on these engines. I agree. Bigger intercooler work at there best if your running more boost, which in meaning. Needing the the bigger cooler to cool the air. I'm new too these engine and be great to hear what works well with them.

My first ‘mod’ would be to visit Vantuner and work out a plan. Personally I’d start with the brakes, then the suspension......then give it more power.
