custom sport rear anti roll bar

Postby MS-RT-steve » Fri Feb 02, 2018 8:24 pm

Hi all, so not sure if this has been covered. But has anyone fitted the rear anti roll bar from a sport to a normal custom?
People driving a sport, Is there any difference you think with the bar.
Just thought I'd voice my idea.

Ok so I was reading a review on a 66plate custom sport on parkers. And clearly stated thinker front arb and a rear arb only unique to the sport. I'm thinking, why can't that be fitted to a normal custom.

Steve, they did make some minor changes to the euro6 sport. I’m not sure that it would be wise to stick the rear arb on, unless you have the esp etc recalibrated?

Well that's my thinking. Only the sport should have the bar as the msport is based on a limited. Hence why I thought about fitting one.

What are you hoping to achieve by fitting the arb from the sport?

if you fit a roll bar i would have thought you will have to fit softer springs :?

Yeah, that’s what they appear to have done, then fitted the arb to reduce the understeer?
