i would assume it would be the reverse of fitting. If you use the search for Hykee lock or similar something will come up as there are threads on here how to fit a Hykee. The question is, why do you want to remove it?

Thanks for the reply yasser the reason I need to remove it is because I'm getting a replacment van from Ford due to my current van being a pile of Sh*t I've been in a battle with Ford for 11 months with this van that's a 2017 Limited that has had a Ton of repairs prior to delivery to me. So I want to take it out to fit in the new Van I now have it out but it looks like who ever fitted it did not fit it properly as it looks like the retaining clip that fit inside the door is missing . So the next question is can anyone confirm that there is a clip that fits on the inside of the door skin ?
Thanks

Yes it’s the standard Ford clip to remove the lock remove the bar off the hykey lock barrel then use the key to turn the lock to the removeit out of the doo mechanism

Mine also has a retention post which is secured to the lock body via a small allen key. Its located on the inside where the Ford spring clip should be

Check if it’s fell off and in bottom of door the clip on mine was a bit slack so I nipped it up to get a good fir

They get splayed / buckled if door lock gets 'turned',only seen them on custom and mk8,mk8 doesn't have the sponge the custom has on clip....
But mk8 also has chamfered, plastic spacer, between lock barrel and doorskin on outside (as door is not flat)
