Wellhouse campervan handbrake sticking

Hi anybody with a campervan handbrake conversion had any problems with it sticking mine was stuck on today for about a minute finaly after many attempts it freed itself any ideas ? Thanks (Apply handbrake as normal push handle down to allow seat to swivel)

I have seen a post on hear about the custom having problems with the hill start assist not releaseing may not be your problem but possible

I never have any trouble but my wife usually needs a couple of goes to release the handbrake. I think I pull it up more than she does after pressing the button.
