hi im new to this i have a 2014 transit custom last sunday it broke down cant remember the fault code that come up but it mention a fault on the pressure rail switch and
high pressure pump vapour sensor after speaking to the local ford dealer i was advised to change both vehicle runs for about 10/15 min when cold then cut out it dose restart but wont idle renewed pump relay but still cut out when worn any suggestions it did have a new fuel filter about three weeks ago and was running fine until last week

My guess is the fuel filter.

Had exactly as you describe on a Ford Galaxy and there was air in the fuel system, the garage I used also used a non Ford filter.... it played up for well over a week. Took it to Ford who put an oem filter in and purged the rail and fuel system. Apparently they have a “special” tool to purge the system of air.... not sure if that’s true or not but it ran perfectly once Ford popped their filter in there.
