330 rpm at 70

Postby TPM961 » Tue Mar 06, 2018 8:47 am

Looking to buy a 330 lwb custom at the end of the week, just out of curiosity can anyone comment as to how fast the engine is spinning at 70?
Cheers

I wasn't aware they had different diff ratios? It's a 125ps.
If it's anywhere around the 2k mark I'm happy!

:? Well mk7s do
But some have 6speed and some 5 speed boxes
So I don't know really :? I only wash dogs arses
But mines a 155 sport, etis used to tell you diff ratios but it say bugger all now thanks to the bloody eu and jean claud spunker :x

One would think a 330 might be higher reving to pull an extra half tonne perhaps

I'm aware the mk7's used to, but as you say they had a 5 speed variants.
My mk5 lwb has 5.13 so as long as it isn't as bad as that!

2-2.5k is what i was thinking it would be

Your diff must be a 3..something if the revs are that low at 70 and 100, surely :?: :?

Axle Ratio:
4.188/3.045 Final Drive Ratio

Not sure where 5 came from, think I ment to type 4.
