Transit custom towbar euro 6

Hi I’m new on this forum I’m wondering if any one can help I have a ford transit custom euro 6 model I had the van new without a towbar fited and now Im debating weather to get one fitted I have purchased a genuine ford towbar on eBay and in need of getting it wired up just wondering how hard it is to wire it up with the dedicated electrics to the passenger step. Is it just plug and play or does any thing need to be solderd also there’s a plug lead by the spare wheel witch I have been told it’s for the towbar but I tryed connecting it but have no power so must need connecting to passenger step can some one shed some light on this for me please as I have no clue thanks in advance
