Another aftermarket head unit question!

Hi everybody
Trying to fit a an aftermarket head unit.
I've bought all the connects2 wiring kit. Nothing. No power! I've bench tested the head and it's fine, all the fuses are good.
At the stage now where I think there may be a fault with the steering wheel control box? I'm now ready to scrap it and hardwire everything. The van is a base model 14 plate with no "extra" screen
Anybody done this before?

Don’t bother with the connects 2. Send it back.

Try this lot. Never let me down across 5 or 6 different vehicles.
