Hi Guys
Just received some new 18inch alloys for my custom, and the supplied / fitted tyres are 255/45 18, am I going to have any issues with these? especially as the back end has been lowered.
also to top it off, they have supplied some horrible HIFLY ? tyres, so I am thinking if the size is no good, I just change them for something else as I have little confidence in the tyres after reading reviews. ?

You'll most likely have issues on the front wheels scrubbing art full lock, although 45 profile might get away with it, possibly slight adjustment of tracking.
I think Chris tried 255 50 18 and had to change them, that was mk7 but should be similar.
Try your luck I guess.

How'd you get on with the 255/45-18? Any fouling rubbing etc.?
