If i was doing it I'd use a 60A feed from the drivers seat base to feed the main live with a suitable contact switch, chassis ground and I would look at using a remote cable for switching.
That's how my power inverter is setup.

Assuming you mean audio amplifier then you'd want a radio on feed or simpler an ignition live feed.

There are a few variations to the above, you can feed the cable in the side of the van fairly simple.

Hi there loot thanks for your quick response I will take a look at the power in the seat base of the drivers seat will I need to remove the battery to work on this ? as for the remote turn on I am using a audio Control Lc2i which will be feed speaker inputs this unit has Auto sensing turn-on circuit and a remote out which I will run to trigger my amp and sound processor At present i have a bunch of cables all on the passengers side just behind the glovebox which need to find there way under the floor covering to the passengers seat base I'm not sure how hard this will be ? do you happen to know how to do this ? Cheers

You can work on the live fused feeds at the seat base without removing the battery but just be careful that you don't ground them or you'll blow their respective fuses.

I'm not 100% sure about cab floor cable routing but if it is similar to the mk7 then it goes from drivers seat to bcm/glove box area via the floor.

It may show you what you need if you go to www.etis.ford and put your vehicle vin in and download bemm transit custom 2012.75 or whatever you need.

I'd avoid that if possible.

Wire everything up for the amp but remove its opp l blade fuse that is usually built in and wire the main live cable to the seat last, it'll be a 10mm nut so the cable wants to be an eye terminal. Key out of the ignition too.

As long as you don't cause sparks by being careless you'll be ok.

I don't know if the radio etc will lose a code on these like the mk7 did but I wouldn't want to chance it.

What amp is it mate?
