torque cut after a speed of 100 km/hour - error Service Requ

Postby dara76 » Fri Jul 13, 2018 1:41 pm

Hello,

A have bought a Ford Transit Custom 2017 this year and when travelling on the highway with a speed above 100 km/hour - maybe 120-130 km/hour, the "Service required" message lights up, as well as an i in a rectangle and the torque is suddenly cut-off, the vehicle maintains its current speed but we cannot accelerate it. If we lower the speed to 90 km/hour and the error is present, we can no longer accelerate to 100 km. It is like entering in some sort of a safe mode. There are no problems below the speed of 100 km/hour. The service cannot detect the problem, the testing machine does not show any error. Can anyone please help? The problem occurs at various speeds over 100 km/hour. Sometimes it occurs at 100 km/hour, sometimes it occurs at 120 km/hour, sometimes at 130. It seems random, but only after 100 km/hour.
