If it's a genuine locking wheel nut sometimes somebody else's key will fit the lock nut if they have them on their transit custom. Worth a try before heavier action is needed. Such as breaking the ring that spins and using a 12 point socket on them or else welding a normal wheel stud on to the head of it and removing it.

have a look at both nut and socket and see which is damaged. if its the socket, just get another one from the dealer, if its the nut drastic action is required.

They are made of chocolate.

I had to take drastic action on mine too. I threw them out once I got them off and will never use them again!

Had to grind the spinning ring off which took very little time, then forced on with a lump hammer a slightly undersized star socket and used lots of anti seize spray. It came off but no end of swearing and effort needed. Happened to my mates also, he tried the hole punch method but the stud left the hub and damaged the first couple of threads.

I put on a cheap set of Halfords/eBay specials and honestly they are way better quality than the oem Ford.

Ford want nothing to do with any warranty claim and always blame owners or tyre shops for overtightening. They are not fit for purpose.
