Cheers mate looks like that’s my only option then get it mapped out, did you gut the dpf yourself then get it mapped out?

Hi mates,

Any new about this problem ? I have a 2.0L Tdci 170 auto with the same problem...

New breather cover, new DPF, injectors ok... in datalogging, DPF is full in 50 miles, static and moving regens are OK... No fault codes, except when the DPF is full.

I'm lost :|

It might be also turbo fault, passing oil that clogs the dpf.

Been following Jimmy o’Reilly on YouTube down south he seems to be the man to solve dpf problems if I have problems I will take the trip down to see him mine went in to two Ford dealerships 4 times to get a add blue system/dpf sorted.

Did you ever got it fixed?

I am currently battling similar issue. Not using the van that often nowadays but in good general condition so keen to keep it. Van regenerates every 20-80 miles or so, depending if city driving or motorway. Everything is standard, new injectors have not fixed the issue.
I am now thinking it is down to or EGR being sluggish, turbo actuator lazy, DPF passed its best days (but been cleaned professionally a year ago and deemed ok). Or some of the inlet pipes clogged with soot (too little air in), or letting unmetered air in (running too lean letting unburned fuel through).

Many ideas but don't want to start replacing things randomly. No error codes either. DPF regenerates fine and on idle the dpf pressure goes down to 6-10 mbar (6 when egr is open, 10 when closed) . After the 20miles driving in city, the dpf pressure reaches 16-25 mbar and then tries to regenerate agian.

Other thing I noted and forgot to mention above is that the dpf pressure seems to be very much related to the exhaust temperature. When cold, the exhaust pressure is much lower than when hot. This is puzzling me quite a bit. Same working conditions (rpm, turbo, egr, MAF), just different pressure depending on temperature. If, I was expecting the pressure to be lower with higher temperature. But it is the way around
