Thing is I do that and it's no longer an original van. Plus I can't afford it tbh.

Maybe try some specialist sites or forums that deal with vintage stuff.

It looks fantastic, but I can see it being a hard sell. There is bound to be someone who would love it at a reasonable price, but finding them... that's the problem! Looks in A1 condition.

I love it, but I've already got two cars!

Great van though. Looks like a brilliant piece of history.

I would probably be interested around the top bid to the 6k mark if it's of any intrest to yourself?

Thanks but no thanks. I'm not desperate to sell, I'd let it go for £7.5k minimum. And for that I'll include a proper cover for it.

You'd struggle to import one as nice as mine now, they are £5k upwards on German Ebay and there aren't many on there anymore, by the time you import it, register it, etc it'll stand you in more than than mine, and mines all ready to go. Mines not messed with either so still has it's fire racking, some equipment, etc.

There are several others on EBay similar age (late mk1's) for the same or more.

I'll just wait for the right buyer or keep it. Not bothered either way tbh.

I'd like a Sport Van so we can sell our Q3 but if not we'll find another way, I'll never find another like this anyway so I'll only end up regretting selling it!

Back on EBay.

First offer of £7500 buys it, or would swap (plus cash either way) for a mk7 Transit Sport Van.

Classic Ford Transit Mk2, 1978, LWB, only 19k miles from new
