2001 LWB Transit Spares or Repairs

Postby northernlad » Thu Apr 13, 2017 11:31 am

2001 Ford Transit T350 LWB 2.4 Engine Diesel

SPARES OR REPAIRS

Will run, but needs a battery, alternator and fuel

Had a secondhand engine fitted last January at a cost of £1200 - the owner was in dispute with the garage over the bill.

Eventually the garage closed down, and the owner recovered his Transit, which has now been sat in our yard for 8 months,

So we have the key and logbook and are selling it on his behalf.

Ideal as a project to put back on the road, as the engine and box are ok, may need a minor amount of welding, a tyre or two, as they are old, and an alternator and battery.

Good value for someone who has the time, we have a local recovery companies number who we can pass on,

No messers please - here to sell 07563 345645 Sensible offers - send me a deposit and its yours.

You may stand a better chance of selling that if you state the mileage and also take pictures of the underneath as a transit that age will no doubt be as rusty as fool.

I very much doubt that the mileage will increase or decrease the price - but here you go.

197000 Miles showing on clock - donor engine had 109000 on it - but we have no evidence to show if correct or not.

We don't want a fortune for it, so make me a bid and lets get it gone.

Well that's fairly low mileage for a van that age. If the underneath is solid it could make all the difference how much you get for it.

It isnt rotten underneath but has extensive body pannel damage on passenger side, interior is in very good condition no rips in the seats

With everything else going on i bought it for a quick turn around but the idea is to break it now

I already have a 115 awaitng a new engine witch i have ready to go in but its all work work at the minute
