Neither thanks :!:

It does say the nsf arch is corroded but the rest of the van does not look too bad and I did say its not auto :D still 3 grand cheaper and not done many more miles.

Andyg wrote:Make that auto one an offer  or go and see it and find enough fault to tune his price down a bit  :D

I did make an offer of £3500 and he was not interested and didn't make any move to lower his price and as I have no transport I could not go to see it to haggle him down.
I will just have to wait for the new automatic mk7 if it ever happens :?:

It's still gonna be months for the MK7
They can't seem to produce enough manuals  (China and India are seeing to that :!: )Let alone a brand new auto :!:

And as it's going to be a brand new design, will it have any bugs :?:
If I get one, I'll be taking the extended waranty

This one is very nice but again where do they get the price from  I know its low mileage and disabled adapted but jesus £7,495. My van has the same spec apart from no aircon, my lift is side mounted which is better and has all the hand controls, infrared remote, electric leather front seats ect and a large bench seat in the back 8) but mine is 6 months older and I only paid £7500 4 years ago.

I got to drive an adapted 97 automatic TD on thursday, sold a Guy a set of clear indicators and he let me have a go. It had hand or foot accelerator and brakes, an american built electric chair lift and remote rear door opening and other mods. ie., like the door pillar knees to make room for the wheel chair guides and airbag compensators for the weight differences. I drove it only with the hand controls and did'nt once go for the pedals 8) I asked him how much he paid for it expecting to hear 10<12 thousand euro but he got it for 7000. Which is not bad for what he got and a clean, low mileage Van, with too many extras to mention :) it drove good for a Dodgem

The one I drove had the accelerator and brakes on the column, also it had permanent powered brakes, which you can hear pumping even when switched off, the owner pointed out and said it was a legal requirement.

How about getting the nearest thing to your requirements ( van or minibus) and having an auto gearbox fitted?
