Transit Wanted 2006 onwards SWB Low Roof.........bought one!

Postby Flaxman » Thu Dec 13, 2012 9:57 pm

Hi
I'm looking for a SWB Low roof Transit 2006 onwards. I'd like as low mileage as possible, ply lined with factory bulkhead, not to fussed about colour but not sure about bright orange 8) I live on the Isle of Wight but will travel far if the right vehicle comes along. I have about £5,500 max to spend. Cheers

VAT shouldn't really put you off they all make around the same money anyway.

Spoke to my dad earlier today, he's thinking of selling his 57 plate 260 swb in white, only covered approx 45000 miles and in good condition.
He's owned that van from new and purchased it from Polar Ford in Barnsley, it's been serviced every year around Christmas time, it was 1st registered in Jan 2008 so the mot is due, i'm sure he'd sell it with 12 months MOT though. If your interested let me know, i'm sure he'd take somewhere around your budget with no Vat.

No doubt it will mean me finiding him a new one again!
VW vans, it's the future :)
