Hi I'm a vanner from many yrs back ,looking to get back to the clan . Which Transit is cheapest /best to get hold of ? Thinking about a swb tranny ,petrol /2ltr? /Anyone got one for sale? comments ? ROD

Thanx for that ,I had looked ,but dont know much about the particular engine it has ,thats why was after a 'simple' 2 ltr . Also looking to spend more on a up &running van . ROD

There's a wide range of trannys out there but the best one to look for is one with no rust!
Once the dreaded tinworm takes place you can start watching your van disapear. I managed to find one with no rust at all but is has 29k and wasn't cheap! :roll:

Hi. Have got a 2Ltr Mk2 chassis cab with 54k on clock. Its on the button and runs great. A good project. needs some welding, but dont they all. comes with new wings and sills. Call me on 01629 822031 or e.mail jeep@uwclub.net for photos.

i could be tempted to sell mine as its to small to do the my job 1983 custom tested for 10 months only been out 1s since test see my post in transits for sale or email and ill send pics cheers tony
