looking for a mk2 transit old style with the all metal front panel, not with plastic grille. prefer lwb twin wheel, but w-h-y?

If you just like the look, maybe think about getting a van and changing the front, it can be done. Take a good look at the ebay section too, there was a slightly tatty but savable SWB phase1 put up there. Remember the vans there are only occasionally posted by the actual sellers, usually just spotted by other members and brought to everybody's attention.

It's got a york engine but that can be fixed! Standing at £100 at the mo, where in the country are you?

I missed the LWB bit! To be honest, the last one you posted about was much worse, due to the big amounts of welding (he did admit to it) I think that's what you are up against, our minbus was as rough as you could get with big holes in the bodywork.
