Mk1 wanted for TV reconstruction

I have posted for 'action vehicles', but maybe nobody thought I was serious. I have been asked to fin a van to the following spec - Mk1 LWB twin wheel, two back doors and side loading door. Must be in very good condition as the reconstruction is of the late 70s, so maybe even a very early Mk2 would do. I had Mark's in mind but it has signwriting and he's not ready to get rid of it. The shoot is in 3 week's time in the London area, and there is payment involved!

Hi Fred, sell me your mk1 and i will see if i can get it repaired in time!!,i have a genuine wing new and waiting to be fitted along with the other parts you have well how about it

Are You MAD???!!! I fear there is more than 3 weeks work in our LWB, getting her off our yard would take 2 days! Nice thought though.......

..........or maybe I could just get them to shoot the drivers side only??!!

May as well try before the old metal moth sets in and theres nothing left,a lot of people make this mistake thinking "one day soon" and then all of a sudden 10 years have gone by with it sitting under a damp sheet and its all to late at least if she let it go it would get back on the road
