The box level is normally checked when warm/hot (preferably after a run) and you select all positions 3 times, pausing for a second in each, ending in P and checking level immediately after and all while the engine is still running
Torque setting for the sump bolts is 14Nm (10 lbf.ft) And normally go round them two or three times
But then, who are you to tell somebody that's supposed to know how to do his job
