16 inch Transit 4x4 steel wheels

Postby dieselhead123 » Tue May 01, 2012 11:29 am

Hi lads,

We have recently been having a 'clear out' at the yard and have a set of 6, possibly 7, 16 inch Iveco Daily steel wheels.

These are the same stud pattern as the Mk2 and early Mk3 twin wheel axles and will be of use to any of you 4x4 lads wishing to raise your Transit up a tad 8)

I believe that Tonypastie has acquired a set for his 4x4 Mk2 fire van, perhaps he will be willing to confirm suitability.

Since these wheels are fitted to 5 tonne Ivecos, they are very strong and will put up with all the punishment that a 4x4 Transit is likely to give them.

I am willing to supply these to forum members for £60 a set, hopefully I will find number 7!

I appreciate that courier costs may be quite high for such large and heavy items, so I am prepared to 'ferry' them to forum members on my travels around the country.

Pm me if these are of interest and I will de what I can to assist with delivery.

Got some 175/75 16's, these are all good tread, but road going tires not 4x4's.

The deal was just for the wheels as I assumed that the tires would not suit the 4x4 lads.

What size you after captain? We have plenty of pre-used 16's here, could even do a deal with some di pas pump brackets

Main concern is the offset. My van has the twin axle but fitted with single wheels. These have a bit more offset, so will need to check whether they will clear the shocks on the front. :?:
