Mk3 running gear and electrics.

Postby Alex. » Mon Aug 05, 2013 9:25 am

These all came from a running but rusty G-reg Mk3, with a 2 litre pinto engine.

Gearbox - £35
Clutch friction and pressure plate - £15
Rear axle, diff & rear brake assemblies, axle mounting brackets have been cut off but the rest is good - £25
Drive shaft - £30
Front uprights/shocks/stub axles/brake assemblies - £50
Pair of headlights - £15
Airbox - £15
Washer bottle - £5
Complete wiring loom with numerous black boxes - £35
Set of 4 steel wheels - £50

Collection from Medway, North Kent is obviously best for the big bits.
Postage at cost for the small bits.

It's probably on the loom, I took the whole lot out to use in a kit car.

Should have asked before, is the gearbox a type 9 (cast iron) or an MT 75 (aluminium) :)

Was jokin.................

I was just posting my 'guesstimate' when you'd cleared it up,so i stuck the edit on after (like i actually knew,NOT)

I started work around that time and just seem to remember all our (petrol at that time) drive hires on the 'F' plate were old type 9`s or 4 speeds...
And i'd deffo seen a G plate with MT in it......
