Breaking my Transit Mk5

Postby Choppergeoff » Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:43 pm

Breaking Mk 5 LWB. Semi high roof 2.5 Turbo charged Diesel with Bosch pump conversion.
Time is up on my lengthy customisation project.
Its a 2000 W reg. Mk5 long wheel base Semi high roof, lowered roof over cab with 2 x American sun hatches.
5 stud axles with Range rover alloys
Twin side loading doors fitted with opening half windows plus 2 x spare doors.
electric windows tourneo carpets
Tourneo hatchback and tinted windows fitted.
Shell welded in 2013
passed its MOT in 2013 but never got back on the road. just needs wheel arches bodywork and paint
Rear spacers convert 5 stud Transit ,to Range Rover Alloys
Front hubs re drilled to Range Rover PCD
Many many new and used spares available ie. Mk 6/7 front bumper , clear indicators etc.swivel seat bases.
4 Transits have gone into the mix including a tourneo and a 120 Custom.
Rebuilt rear axle with new slave cylinders.
If anyone is into customising a Mk.5 ,this is the project for you, but not for the faint hearted
Prefer to sell as complete project ,but will consider selling off the spares breaking van ,separately
I don't do Standard and I don't do Normal...whatever that is

Hi.
Condition is very good.
It needed a small repair to the top frame.... Bit of rust (naturally)
Have Tourneo green tinted glass for it.
pm your email address and I'll send you some pics late next week.
Thanks Geoff

Hi Cat.
I do have a matching pair ,but I'm reluctant to split them.
I have another van coming in soon , so I'll check the condition and let you know asap.
Thanks Geoff
