Hi tdb9
Obviously a little common sense is needed, I did say if its a heavy pallet go right round, alternatively if it was a bit 'iffy' go round all 3 front supports & use the 'floating' D ring. If I was in any doubt about it I would thread the hook through behind the (say) right hand front support then out round the centre side support, up a little at each rear corner down through between the left side centre and front support out between the front left and front centre support then into the loose D ring. This way it should be safe enough 5 supports to break before a problem, pulling from the rear should (ever so slightly) raise the front to reduce the chance of snagging, which you could also do by raising the pulling fixing site height. Where theres a will theres a way. I am not pretending these are the be all to end all, just they make a problem job a bit easier and hopefully safer too.
