eonon double din dvd head unit out of my transit!

Postby glenandemm » Fri Sep 11, 2009 10:29 am

hi guys im about to sell this double din head unit which ive still got fitted in my bus at the moment but will be selling it once ive got a single din basic dvd player to go back in,its all fully working and the only reason im selling is i thought it was great when i bought it but now i just want a basic dvd player to go back in the dash,it does everything from radio, built in tv,bluetooth for phone although ive never used it,touch screen,sd player, usb input, dvd player and tv outputs on back that i had my roof mount screen connected to.
its not top quality but then again your not paying top money like a pioneer or alpine etc.
comes with all instructions and i think ive still got the box,to make it fit in the transit mk6 youve got to get rid of the lip on the inside of the dash,a few mins job.
looking for £70 plus postage.
pm me

so what dvd player u plan on getting?

i'd recomend the ripspeed ones from halfords, the quality on them is great, from the aux outs that is, as we use seperate amps to power speakers.

and just out of curiosity where did u put ur fli sub?

im gonna replace it with a quite basic jvc head unit, its got an tv output for the roof mount, rca for the sub, ipod input and plays dvd's, its not great but i just think this eonon unit is abit to fancy for ferrying dickheads about all the time  ,plus its got too many gadgets and does put me off while im driving when i put a dvd on for the pissheads in the back to keep em quiet :!: although ive just found a way to turn the screen off by holding the mute button.
ive only paid £60 for the jvc so just want slightly less than what i paid for this eonon head unit.
for the other questions, i think you can go on the eonon website, the model number is eonon 1012.
and the other question-to make it fit all i had to do was shave the bottom lip off the dash, theres a tiny lip there that stops it going in,then its just a tight squeeze to fit it in,i never had a cage with it but it doesnt need one anyway as like i say it fits nice and tight,to cut the lip off only took me five mins, the transits only supposed to be din and a half or something like that but as you can see it fits nice and looks factory, even had a vosa man say it looke nice yesterday at alton towers while he was going through my tacho's :?
will post pics of my sub in the other section!

Thanks
