Turnout seemed a bit low yesterday, but loads more have arrived today. Just taken a pic from the highest point, by the footbridge at the far end:

This is a problem I struggle with, I'm getting to know more faces/names/forum names/vans each time I go, but I still would like to get to know more.
We did discuss name badges, or lanyards, at one time, but the idea wasn't all that well received :(

We were talking about that to Alan N, I use to have name on numberplate in my old van but it hasnt made it into this one yet.

We ran off early, little one wasnt very well and 2 nights on an airbed was knocking claire around being 18wks pregnant.
Nice to put names to faces though and I'm sure we will be back next year.

At a bike group I'm a member of they have an A board with new meme era look for some one in a red t shirt with the club name on to say hello and be introduced. They then have volunteers in red shirts to chat to people and say hi and make sure everyone says hi

They also have an hourly meet for newbies and stragglers to come to a tent and say heello it works great I'd volunteer to do it

There's a lot of non forum folk there too, but I think I'm getting a tshirt next year :D

Its not the camping that costs the money :? ......

Its all the extras you end up buying, you wanna try sneaking a MK5 bumper back to the camper without the wife seeing :mrgreen: ...........

:lol: true i ende up with the scrap from craigs van a pair of mrk5 shocks new,48 cans of brake cleaner and maintenance spray, and a set of clocks with rev counter for me mrk6

cost £20 in fuel
£30 for the 2 nights
and the other bits and pieces £50 bit more

food wise £15 quid

beers i dont know
