Mechanical Wheel Balancer *SOLD*

Postby MinorMatt » Sat Jun 25, 2016 12:19 pm

I have an old Kismet Weaver (a good make!) mechanical wheel balancer thats been sat in the corner if my workshop for a few years.

Its in good condition and works well, and even has the instuctions.

It mounts wheels using the wheel studs so of the wheel center isn't round (like mk1 wheels) it will still work.

I am looking for £150 for it, either collect from Haywards Heath or could bring to North Weald or Transitmania.

I've got one of the cheap ebay copy's of that tyre changer, its surprisingly good for £35! Does need to be fastened down well but usually does most things ok but has failed with old Range Rover alloys for some reason. Bit less heath robinson than driving over them to break the bead.
If you are using it regularly I would buy a used one with a air powered bead breaker though

Hi, can you help please. I have one of those kismet wheel balancer and was wondering if you still had it and could do me a copy of the booklet/instructions or scan it in for me. I have tried waggling the levers but am not getting sensible results, the needle shakes all of the time just more when it is way out.
thanks
