Very nice work Charlie.

Today I fitted my Vanrobes covers, they are very nicely made, better than I expected to be honest.

Also, made a full length rear mat from a set of car mats and some zipties I had lying around.

Finally I got myself some 18" wheels. After talking and thinking about it for a year I finally got a set. Original alloys will now be my winter tyre set and these my summer set. With a new set of pressure sensors in them they will be a straight swop.

Got my OBD port moved and protected in a locked metal box and bolted to the chassis following this spate of thefts:

viewtopic.php?f=65&t=178619

I feel better now. Turns out this is a self help group. Now have deadlocks, Hykee lock, and OBD protection. I'm doing Ford's job for them. I'm staggered how lax the security is.

When someone makes an OBD port immobiliser for the Euro6 I'll get one of those too. Would have had one today but it's not Euro6 compatible yet.

Andy.

It took a lot of examination and searching on teh interwebz, but I believe I have identified your problem here.

You have a pug in your dashboard.

You're welcome. Happy to help.

Although he's a handsome chap, he's not a pug, he's a Frenchie i believe, i will say it is a preferable gremlin behind the dash than what we normally get

Did you chop bits off him to get him to fit in there like that?

Has he eaten his way up through the dash from down below?

Great photo. I assume he is a pup and will out grow his comfy spot.

Aaah. Y'see, This explains why I was struggling to suggest a fix for the problem. A pug in a dashboard is pretty much an insurance write-off. Frenchie in a dashboard however is eeeeasy. It's a known fault, and Ford is rolling out a universal Frencie-in-your-dashboard fix at your next service.

I think they are escaping from the engine management system :?
And Ford are still refusing to admit there is a problem :x :x
