Do the injectors have a torque setting or is it just tighten them up gently till they don't turn anymore (with gentle force)?. N

3ft bar....then 3 white knuckles + 1/2 a turn...should see you sorted..

Methinks there's a proper torque setting, here's a reference I found straight out of the Ford manual:

2000-2006 2.0L TDCi

Fuel injectors: 47Nm or 35lb-ft

HTH..

Running on easy it's good as it proves 99% that the fault is fuel delivery, it is more than likely just a case of getting good fuel injected from the injectors.
