Starter motor sticking.

Postby jhsmaclean » Sun Jun 17, 2007 9:59 am

I have had three new starter motors on my Transit 350 LWB2001. They last about a month and then stick. Why is this happening and what is the solution.

Thanks the flywheel has been changed and that is not the problem, it may be heat as a grease like substance is dripping from the bottom of the starter motor.
